Zoltán Márton

Lean is based on the triad of goal, process and the respect for people. Its main question is: How is it possible to create the highest value for the customer by using the least amount of resources, time, energy and effort? As soon as he became acquainted with Lean in the 1990s, he knew that he wanted to work with this approach. His skills as a mechanical engineer have been developed further through numerous postgraduate trainings and longer or shorter interim management experience over the past decades. Zoltán has been working for more than twentyfive years as a consultant in the area of developing enterprises and organizations' operation structure, and also in the area of effectiveness enhancement. His major skills in consultancy are leading and coordinating complex projects, successfully implementing new operational models and transferring those changes into practice. There is a Chinese proverb that reflects Zoltán’s mindset: "If you plan for a year, you should plant rice. If you plan for ten years, you should plant rice. If you plan for a lifetime, you should teach people."
