András Gelei

András believes strongly in the integration of practice and theory. For more than 20 years, he has been an organization development consultant and executive coach, and has led several team development, organization culture and management development projects. At the same time, he is an associate professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest, where he teaches what András is most interested in: organizational learning & development, organization theory and organizational psychodynamics. Currently he is the director of the Specialization Program in HRD & Organization Development there. He is also professionally trained in outdoor training, organizational psychodynamics and organizational role analysis (ORA) as well as in decision-centered coaching. Furthermore, András is a licenced facilitator of Social Dreaming and Future Search methodologies. As an OD consultant, coach, teacher and researcher, his main interest is to study and work with the underlying dynamics of organizations and human systems.

  • In 2012, he received the ‘Mezei Julcsi Award for a “Contribution to the Profession and the Society,” awarded by the Hungarian Organization Development Society.
