Michael Faschingbauer

How can you be resolutely effective when nobody knows where the journey is going? Michael Faschingbauer's search for answers led him from the automotive industry – where his work included roles in product management among others – to consultancy. His interests lie in the challenges of the unknown, where predictions and planning do not work. In consultancy, he finds these challenges in organizational development and questions of corporate culture and intrapreneurship. With his effectuation concept, Michael brought an approach from science into the world of consultancy, one which not only explains entrepreneurial thinking, but makes it teachable. As author of an award-winning specialist book on the subject, he is often invited to keynote speeches or training seminars. Following a technical apprenticeship (HTL), he gained field and management experience in Austria and the US. Michael Faschingbauer graduated with an MBA degree with a major in entrepreneurship and completed training in organizational development and systemic work approaches.
